Hello and welcome! I’m so glad you’re here.

I’m Harika Zerman, a self-taught artist currently living in a small city in the mid-north of Sweden — a quiet place surrounded by mountains and pine forests. The beauty of nature and the constant changes in seasons and light here are a daily source of inspiration for my work.

My background is in English literature, and I’ve lived in a few European countries, working in big companies. Over time, I found the tech world and office life deeply soul draining. Art began as a way to reconnect, a quiet escape into something more meaningful. What started as a hobby slowly grew into my full-time job and the heart of my daily life.

I work from my home studio, often surrounded by half-finished paintings, cups of coffee, birdsong drifting in through the summer window, or the quiet beauty of a snowy landscape just outside. My studio practice is an intimate celebration of cozy, domestic life and the charm of slow living. I am currently working on a series of warm, colorful paintings that capture the simple, comforting details of home and everyday moments.

Thanks so much for visiting — I hope you find something here that speaks to your soul.
