About
Harika Zerman is a self-taught artist and printmaker from Turkey who previously lived in France and Ireland, and has happily called Sweden home for the past three years. She specializes in abstract painting and relief printing.
Her recent work is minimalistic at its core, usually created with a limited colour palette. Mostly using repetitive patterns and simple shapes, she aims to achieve a minimal aesthetic and a sense of calm in her works.
Soothing and simple at first glance, Harika's paintings invite the viewer to an introspective dialogue, into a realm where the noise of the modern world fades into a distant murmur.
Her art is found in loving homes all around the world, including the United States, the United Kingdom, France, Australia, Japan, and Sweden.
She lives with her husband and daughter in the north of Sweden, in a small city surrounded by mountains and beautiful pine forests. The beauty of nature and the constant change of seasons and light are always a source of inspiration for her art.
